The key and important thing is that everybody has a right to know “the known” facts: bay may pose high numbers of pollutants from sewage spills that are being worked on and from the contents of the Laguna Stuary due to rain storm. The bay waters are being tested and results ,due next week, may help determine the level of contamination. I suffered a bad infection 4 years ago ifrom swimming in Cuestecomate bay which has totally different problems and variables but I also think my immune system was compromised at the time. Since then I do not swim near any groups of houses or businesses just for my peace of mind. This I do in any coastal town of the world. Pollution is everywhere so each of us must become informed and make decision based on what we know. I have been here for 9+ years and have not met anyone who became ill from swimming in Bay. And met lots of swimmers.
But I believe that if you can Share, with Mexicans or foreigners, what you know in a respectful way, is a welcomed gesture and shows you care. Above all stick to the facts.
Well this turned out more than 5 centavos.😬
