Re: What parking?
I cringe everytime I feel the need to post on the board. So often what you say is misunderstood. But here I go anyway. I have to agree with Beccistarr, we are visitors to this country and this is the way they live. Bit by bit things are changing, Mexico is a developing nation afterall. Too often I see us foreigners trying to change the way of life here to suit us. Could things be done better? Of course they can, but that’s our way of thinking and who exactly are we to tell the Mexicans how to live? Much of what has changed here has been a bitter pill to swallow for me over the last 35 years, but then I too have helped create these changes. Don’t we all come here because it’s such a different lifestyle, so charming, sunny and hot in the winter yada yada yada. And here we go trying to make it just like back home, what we all want to get away from. So, I say suck it up and let the Mexicans enjoy their traditions , and have their fun. Stay at your casa if it’s too much for you at National holidays, or, don’t come to this country if you just can’t deal with it. Or wait another 10 or 20 years when we will have inflitrated this country to such a degree that we won’t know the difference between here and back home. There will be no point coming here at all then. Not trying to cause ‘trouble’, just tired of all the do gooders. Imperfect Mexico, gotta love it!
