Posted an hour ago on another site: "Hi all, Traffic disaster on the 15 south of Acoponeta. We are southbound, detoured from 15D. We were stopped for close to an hour and now that we are moving we can see why. A southbound semi has flipped off the side of the partially washed out 2 lane highway. He obviously got too close to the edge - road may have given out. Traffic is a disaster - we just drove past the northbound lineup, which is huge (perhaps hours long - tons of semi trailers). Once we did get moving (single lane alternating traffic) we had to dodge all kinds of people who had left their vehicles to seek shade, not to mention north bound motorcycles. Eek, happy to be clear of all that now | -----------------The Mexican truckers

I have made the drive six times to LM and back and am just shocked at all the truck accidents. Not surprised due to the attempted speeds on ALL corners on 15D!! On one drive North on hwy 2 heading to Yuma I encountered a "thread the needle' with three semis, me being behind the one in the outside lane....WHOA..., talk about dirty air. I guess there is something to be said for the safety of American truck lines... | -----------------
