Telmex internet issues.

I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing these problems that I'm having with my internet since yesterday early evening. the internet signal continually goes in and out and looking at the modem box the red light comes on for a little while and then goes out and then when I check the speed when it is on I'm only able to get about 5 mbps when I used to get 10. Just trying to see if it's a system issue or just my modem. Thanks for your replies. | -----------------Re: Telmex internet issues.

HI James - I had the same issues in October so called them - they sent someone over to check the line and brought me a new modem . Works great now! | -----------------Re: Telmex internet issues.

Thanks Valerie, I chatted online with them and I'm supposed to get a new modem in 3 to 5 days. Be nice if I could figure out how to get it today or tomorrow.

I've had that kind of problem for about 8 months. Finally yesterday someone at Telmex said that nothing more can be done with the infrastructure that we have now. | -----------------Re: Telmex internet issues.

Last week Moises from Telmex brought me a new modem... Supposed to be the best available. It has not made any difference. I guess our problems are all from different sources. | -----------------Re: Telmex internet issues.

My phone and Internet has not worked since I got here a week ago. My first phone call promised me a service guy in 1-3 days. 6 days later, nada. This is standard Telmex practice - tell you they will fix it and they don't. Most of our neighbourhood is having issues but not a repairman in sight. It is likely correct that they don't know how to fix it. But guess what, they still send you a monthly bill.
