Caiman been swimming back and forth in front of Boca's restaurant. Just watched a guy swim right by him and probably didn't even know how close they was to each other. | -----------------Re: Caiman

We really could not tell but possible around 6-7'. Boca's is close to Figaro's Restaurant heading towards the lagoon. | -----------------Re: Caiman

From everything I've heard, Crocodiles tend to shy away from Italian/French cuisine....so you're probably safe at Figaros. | -----------------Re: Caiman

in the whatever-it-is-worth catageory….about every 30 to 40 years, somewhere in MX there is a human (usually a small child splashing in the water near shore) attacked by a caiman/crock. If you want to lie awake at 3am worrying about something, there are far more serious things to consider. | ----------------- Caiman

Croc attacks are indeed rare, but they do happen. A google search of "crocodile attacks Mexico" turns up several, including a soldier killed last year in Puerto Vallarta. | -----------------
