Pool

Hello! We’ve been visiting La Manzanilla for many years and love it. We will be back again in March. Our accommodations do not have a pool and while I’m sure we will spend most of our time at the beach, my kids age 3&6 love pools....so I am curious if any hotels or resorts in the area offer a day use rate for their pool (la manz, melaque etc). Not a deal breaker but would be fun for the kids on a day or two | -----------------Re: Pool

There is a beautiful, clean water park with slides and a few pools of different depths. There is a park with mature trees, and some kind of food service, or you can bring your own food and just buy drinks. It's on the road leading into Barra. I liked it a lot, and my grandson enjoyed it, too. | -----------------Re: Pool

Hotel Cabo Blanco in Barra at the Marina has a pool, but you can just go there anytime, have lunch, and use it. It’s actually a really nice pool, clean, and the setting is quite lovely. | -----------------Re: Pool

Or, you could go over to the Grand Bay Hotel, (via the water taxis from Barra) and use the pools there. As I remember, there are at least three pools with interconnecting shutes- fun for the kids. You can also order food and beverages poolside.

Interesting! I didn’t realize Grand Bay was open to non guests! Would love to hang out there for a day! | ----------------- |
