I think who you need to contact is Valentine at Second Chance if it is actually an abandonment of puppies or dogs.
Cisco's is dedicated to spaying and neutering and does not have facilities or the money to handle abandoned dogs.
Last year the Canadian neighbor of a local family in a similar situation helped the family by buying food for the dogs and puppies and then made sure the puppies were brought into the Cisco's clinic to be sterilized. It ended up being a very happy situation.
Help this family and their dogs by helping them buy food . If needed I will visit them and try to talk them into bringing the pups into the clinic. If they are a couple of weeks old now they will be ready for surgery by March 11th.
Please be proactive and help them. Buying a few bags of dog food might really help the family and dogs.
My guess is that these are part of the German Shepard flood of puppies that were running around town last May and June. Yes, the family is probably planning on selling the puppies if they look like they are pure-which I doubt. It happened with pit bulls the year before. Sad but true.
