In our modern era, we've tended to become disconnected from the natural rhythm that we are immersed in. The priceless treasure of Air to breathe, a beautiful Earth to live on, Water to sustain us and the Sun to enlighten our path.
Ancient indigenous peoples the world over, noted and honored these natural cycles. The four primary being being the solstices, North and South, and the equinoxes, spring and fall. We humans SEEM so separated from each other and our place in Nature. WE ARE NOT! We are interconnected to each other and to all of life. ALL MY RELATIONS!
I propose on this moment of equality, balance and Harmony we remember and connect. I intend to be on the beach across from the Jardine to witness the setting of the Sun and to "sing down the Sun "in honor and respect, then to spend some time in our central plaza, the Jardine, buying and eating food offered by our neighbors and friends. Meeting and greeting whoever happens to be there that evening. Perhaps later we will have a fire on the beach and share music
It's up to each of us, in our own way, to use this opportunity of balance and Harmony to emanate respect, consideration, generosity and kindness towards each other and for our precious Mother Earth. We can dispel the darkness of fear, despair, isolation, distrust, (the list is endless)simply by allowing ourselves to be filled by light, letting it shine, each in our own way!
In love and light, Oso Viejo
P.S. So much to be thankful for. Please join me.
