Rest in Peace, Joe Persram

Here is a note from Cara, the daughter of Joe Persram, Maedb's husband, received April 30: Dad passed away peacefully this morning at 11 am. Thank you for your prayers and support. Dad will be cremated in Guelph. We will hold the funeral service in July in Guelph followed by a walk at the Arbouretum where mom and dad have/will have a tree planted in their name, then the urn burial will be held at Duffin Meadows in Pickering so he can be laid next to family. Cara also asked me if I know who Duane De Rose is. It seems he was a godchild of Maedb or Joe's. I hadn't heard of him - has anyone here?

Carol, thanks for posting this. We are also in touch with Cara and sad to hear of Joe’s death. Peter and I cherish the many happy memories we have of our time with Maedb and Joe in La Manz. | -------------------Re: Rest in Peace, Joe Persram

When Joe was last in la Manzanilla, we were having a conversation, then he burst into a fairly lengthy song for me. It is a lovely memory.
