Specifically for permanent residents........ are we allowed to use the TIP to bring a Motorhome into the country? | -------------------Re: Ten year import for Motorhome

I just went thru that myself, if you are here on a permanent visa the answer is NO. They would not give me a 10 year temp. import sticker. Fortunately my wife is not a perminente and she was able to import it. This is current info, happened in June.

My recent research shows that a retired permanent resident is allowed (rentista). | -------------------Re: Ten year import for Motorhome

Steven Once you go permanente no more vehicles from NOB. Buy Mexican. Try San Carlos area for resales. Or, if you are really a Mexican now, drive it across the border without stopping at the import/immigration office and pretend you are headed for Guaymas. Then take the old road south out of town and avoid the last import station out on highway 200. From there head on south. By the time your motor home sits near the ocean for ten years there will be nothing left to drive back north. Once it is parked you will never be questioned, or a small mordita will make it disappear. Rojo
