Tenacatita lake

I was sitting here in the office and noticed something different but couldn't figure out what is was. It turned out to be that there was no noise coming from the ocean at all! It is like a lake, biggest wave probably less than one foot and that is not breaking but just setteling up against the shore. http://www.lamanzanilla.info/web_cam.html | ------------------Re: Tenacatita lake

The Ocean must of been cuddling the Land? {or visa versa}? | ------------------Re: Tenacatita lake

The ocean here by Victoria has been so still. There was a slight ripple on top today because of the wind, but no waves for two days. The wake from a passing tug took forever to reach shore. Eerie. | ------------------Re: Tenacatita lake

Here in Victoria, we are into our fifth day of this eerie stillness on the water with very little wave action. Might this have to do with the full moon . . . yet, it's not something I've ever been aware of here. Any science types out there who might offer an explanation? | ------------------it was different...

After one of the rain squalls the cloud cover provided a dark blue pattern of color out in the middle of the bay. Hadn't ever experienced that one... | ------------------
