Thanks Chris, good post. Blue Button Jellies...Are They Hazardous to Humans? It's best to avoid these beautiful organisms if you see them. Blue button jellies do not have a lethal sting, but they can cause skin irritation when touched.

Locals call them 'malaguas' or 'medusas', and they can cause a very itchy rash. For which my wife Debbie has found the best antidote to be zinc cream ('pasta de zinc') | ------------------Re: Blue button Jellyfish
