I sent this message to Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Latinoamerica (from their Facebook page) on Messenger:
Mar. 28
"A 4 seasons resort is being built near Tamirindo, Jalisco. The men are being trucked through our village, La Manzanilla. They are crowded into the backs of trucks with no possibility for physical distancing. This is very dangerous now during the pandemic. Please respond with what changes you are going to make. If you are not the person in charge, please tell me who I should contact. Thank you."
Here is their reply from today, Mar. 30:
Hello Carol, we appreciate your comment, in Four Seasons we are very carefull of following all necessary sanitary measures for care and protection of our staff and everyone around us. We don't currently have a property operating there, but will try to share your valuable comment to someone on the corresponding area. Thanks and be safe!
I guess since it is not built yet, they don't take responsibility.
So where do we go from here? I will thank them for the note, and ask who it is in the corresponding area that they are going to talk to. But this is urgent. Merely taking temperatures is not enough, as some carriers or younger infected people don't show symptoms. Any other ideas out there?
