water pressure

Can we have a bit of dialogue about whether people are getting adequate water pressure to fill their tinacos? We have had three separate periods of inadequate pressure to fill our tinaco. Is this a problem for others? Thanks for the dialogue!

How high is the tank you are trying to fill? | ----------------Re: water pressure

3rd floor tinaco. Aljiver is in place but no pump in the system. I have neighbors with 2nd floor tinacos that are getting filled by city pressure, but barely. If the town pressure is consistently down then it may be time to pump water from the aljiver to the tinaco using a pump and maybe pressure tank. Your thoughts? | ----------------Re: water pressure

We're up the hill from the elementary school, therefore above your 3rd floor, and haven't had an issue yet with our cistern not being filled by normal town pressure. Unless we're on a different line. | ----------------Re: water pressure

The Tenaco is too high, put a pump in the Aljiver. | ----------------Re: water pressure

I used to have water flowing -- without stop-- all the way from the falls the ocean. Maybe some of you can remember over 20 years ago I flowed below the trees that lined my riverbed and reached almost all the way across. Now I am being drawn down at my lower reaches. My riverbed is dry. I hear people say how hot my dry riverbed is. I hear the electric motor for the pump in the old well by the city park. It seems to run without a stop. People do not seem to be aware that as they draw down the water table, they also cause my waters to be drawn down under the sand. My riparian habitat dries up. My fate is shared by many other of my riparian relatives.
