Emergency Request re: This Evening's Student Art Show at La Catalina

I just stopped down at La Catalina, hoping that the show was already set up so that I could take photographs and talk to someone about the event. Alas, it was closed and no one was on the premises. Although I don't expect others to do my job for me as the new local "stringer" for the Guadalajara Reporter, I am never free from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Could Ron or someone else take some photos and send them to me as email attachments, along with a brief description of the event, so that I can include coverage of the show in the next "La Manzanilla Memo?" My email address for this purpose is lfwedit@gmail.com TIA! | ----------------Re: Emergency Request re: This Evening's Student Art Show at La Catalina

Lynne, There are photos on this message board, both of 2d and 3d work. As you can see, my photos are poor. I will try to find someone who can take some photos of the event today and forward them to you. If you read the two messages on the board, you will find some information about the event. Thanks, Ron. I'll get the event info from your previous posts and hope that you can forward me a few photos of the event itself. | ----------------Re: Emergency Request re: This Evening's Student Art Show at La Catalina

Lynne, My friend Melody was given a camera to shoot some pictures during the event. The camera belonged to Rene, the printmaking teacher. I don't have Rene's email address but I suggest you contact Annie O. Annie O. posted several pictures of 2D work and of the students on the message board just last Sunday I believe. Well...if you are so involved with this project, wouldn't you be sure you have some sort of basic equipment to record the event? Why place the blame on somebody else for your cheapness.. | ----------------Re: Emergency Request re: This Evening's Student Art Show at La Catalina

Thanks, Ron, for all your help and advice. Of course I know Annie O, so I'll track her down and retrieve info about the event from the Message Board. Congratulations on its great success! BTW, I don't know if Jeanette was referring to you or to me but, IMHO, people who make statements like hers don't belong in this town of generous and committed people, not all of whom have money to spare but donate their time and energy. | ----------------
