Out of country med insurance?

My daughter sent me this link about med insurance for Canadian snowbirds thinking about extending their stay away. I think it was her way of encouraging me to go home... https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.5499666 PS: If you wanna understand how “flattening the curve” and hand washing are so critical to saving lives during a virulent pandemic, check out the BBC documentary Daniel H uploaded in his comment on The Golden Time thread a couple of days ago. It’s a great watch. Funny. Smart. Informative. Sobering. Thank you, Daniel H. Safe travels, be well, have fun.

Your welcome. Interesting it was made in 2018 i.e. we have known about this possibility for some time, but blame is not the place to focus at the moment. The main thing in your comment is the words "flattening the curve". Along that line is this Reuters article from yesterday about what is happening in New York. Not everyone is onboard with cooperating in social distancing (mostly younger people) and others are yelling at them Flatten the curve! which means they get the concept is slowing, not stopping the spread so as not to overwhelm the services. Fear and loathing bloom as American tempers fray in coronavirus crisis It also emphasizes the different ways of dealing with the pandemic, shown quite clearly in the way Mexico's attitude is quite different than other parts of the world (changing some now but the point remains). Mexico's government under pressure over coronavirus response Here is something I read this morning Doctor's Note: Coronavirus and your mental health

According to a forensic epidemiologist interviewed on CBC, one who studies epidemics, one half of a population must get the virus before we are on the down side of the bell curve. This number could include those with light symptoms, those who recover from more threatening symptoms, those who have the virus as carriers but dont show the symptoms, and those with serious symptoms. | ----------------
