New thread: Spanish translation for social distancing

Google translate says it is distanciamento social. Does this sound like it would come across? Also, if anyone has a script, in Spanish, to explain what we are all being asked to do, please add to this thread. I want to communicate effectively with delivery people, store clerks, taxi drivers, cutters of cocos, etc., without offending anyone, and still getting the message across clearly.

Thanks, all. Today I heard from a restaurant owner that there will be meeting for all business owners on Monday to discuss the Covid19 situation. That’s encouraging.

I was told by a restaurant owner that tables will be spaced for safe distancing and all rules and regulations that apply to "Food Safe" will be observed. Use of Chlorox for sanitizing dishes and tables, hands etc. | ----------------Re: New thread: Spanish translation for social distancing

Perhaps carry a small spray bottle of water and clorox -- spray anything around you--table tops, etc. | ----------------Re: New thread: Spanish translation for social distancing

Carol could you send me the recipe for fermenting as I can’t find it. Any and sate are staying home. Got stocked up with staples for the hoarders got out. We are having fruits and vegetables delivered. They come about 1 AM so we are in good shape. If AMY and I see each other we stay over 6 feet apart. Sometimes I need somethings she has and she needs things I have so I sit the bag by th gate we talk a few minutes then she leaves a bag for me and goes in. I get the bag and go home. So we stay safe. It has been 2 weeks now. My doctor was happy wiry my test results. I lost 20 lbs in Mexico and another 10 since I’ve been hom. Doing lots of cooking and make soup. You take care, too. | ----------------
