App for latest COVID 19 info in Jalisco

I mentioned this in a previous post--somewhere, but people are still asking for official updates. If you go to your App Store--or whatever it's called on android phones--and type in Participa La Huerta, you should be able to download the app. It gives daily updates of the numbers for Jalisco as well as any other pertinent information. The app is only in Spanish, but the numbers are clear! | ----------------Re: App for latest COVID 19 info in Jalisco

Thank you Jeanne for that information. Great way to stay connected/informed. We've downloaded it on both of our phones now, registering our phone numbers and location in La Huerta. | ----------------Re: App for latest COVID 19 info in Jalisco

This app is starting to be used as valid information so I did a bit of checking to see where they (the app) are getting their information. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/participa-la-huerta/id1475014507 Facebook link https://www.facebook.com/nirecloud/ Developer website http://nirecloud.com/ The website does not do well in Google Translate so I had to translate the sections one by one, I didn't see where they get their data from. This is not to say the app is not reliable, nor have I read a rivew saying it is reliable. The app is free so they are making money somehow. The privacy policy also does not work in the Google translate I copy pasted it below. It does not specifically say they are not selling or sharing your information. Just sayin The H. So this is the APP that notified me that the poster regarding the beaches being open was false. Thank you Jeannie for putting it back up . We are all hoping for the best for our town snd that means not having thousands of people on our beach for 2weeks.

This post is in conjunction with two other post here and here but lets deal with all of them here. The original post stated that the beaches of La Manzanilla were open. The app stated that that post was not true. If the beaches are not open then they are closed. If they are closed and that information is not on the main stream media then there will be a lot of people show up. It's all about validity and clarity. In that regard the most reliable information is on both twitter and the main stream media. Anywhere there is A PERSON taking responsibility for the information. There is no person taking responsibility for the information on this app.
