I just would like to add that this video is from 5 days ago. The numbers in NY right now are very different. But the advises should be the same :-) | ----------------Re: Covid 19-Very good information from a doctor of the Cornell Hosp. NY

Good link! I like the quiet format much better than the anxiety ones. I doubt I will ever learn to not touch my face, instead of mask they should be handing out hand cuffs with a very short chain that stops me from doing that. Call it the bondage method

That was funny Daniel! For me... I have my own "filters", so none of the information gives me anxiety. Regardless of how it is presented, if I find the information valid, important, I share it. | ----------------Re: Covid 19-Very good information from a doctor of the Cornell Hosp. NY

I meant that the material is presented in an anxiety format, the evening news is an example. I don't carry a lot of anxiety but I do notice when I am around it, its toxic and can get me going in that direction. | ----------------Re: Covid 19-Very good information from a doctor of the Cornell Hosp. I have been thinking about what the doctor said several times, the main way we can get this COVID thing is by touching our face. So if all 7 billion people on the planet put something on that prevented us from touching our face (a face mask of some kind) and washed our hands before touching our face for two weeks then we would not need to shut down the economy, limit travel, self isolate, panic, die or do 99% of the things we have done so far. Is that correct? This mask and glasses cost $17 usd. Mass produced lets call it $10. So for $700 billion we could beat this thing, right? https://www.kombatkit.co.uk/metal-mesh-airsoft-safety-glasses-and-lower-face-steel-wire-mesh-mask-bundle-black-4224-p.asp | ----------------Re: Covid 19-Very good information from a doctor of the Cornell Hosp. Good point Daniel. From what he said even a bandanna can be useful. In most of the countries the hoarders took all the available masks, so for those that can find a mask, just make a bandanna even from an old t-shirt or something. Also the Purell is out everywhere. But there are very good recipes of efficient hand sanitizers on the web, the important is to have 60% alcohol. May you all stay well and with more information than many... that will make the difference. | ----------------Re: Covid 19-Very good information from a doctor of the Cornell Hosp. NY

Sure let’s get someone to donate those masks to the planet. I nominate you, Daniel, to be the minister in charge of compliance. The only problem is, I think ‘They’ haven’t decided if the virus can remain viable in the air (ie, not necessarily having to be in the droplets of a sneeze or cough). If it can, if aerosol transmission is possible, your devices, being full of holes, would not work.

I thought Daniel was joking. A good solution is a bandana, made of cotton and probably 2 layers of fabric. That would do I think. Everyone has a tshirt at home. If they can't see at least they can cut a fabric triangle. | ---------------- |
