A suggestion for public lavatories

Have you ever been grossed out by the open toilet paper receptacles in toilets here? https://www.google.com/search?q=coronavirus+in+feces&rlz=1C9BKJA_enCA809CA810&oq=coronavirus+in+feces&aqs=chrome..69i57.16866j0j7&hl=en-US&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8 ...if you go to this link, it shows many sources concluding that the virus can be spread through feces. I would recommend to restaurants, especially, that they fill their used toilet paper receptacles with a bleach/water solution, so the trash will be submerged and then that part of the toilet area would stay sanitized. I read a fictional story about someone who caught covid19 from someone who hadn’t washed their hands after using the toilet, so went to Google... Sometimes, I know, it feels like we are getting obsessed with details, but when I spend just a few minutes on the news, I realize that it’s time to be bold, and say what’s there to be said. The changes in sanitation might stick! Changes we make today, we can still enjoy when all this is over.

Carol, I'm wondering about disposal of all that bleach water. | ----------------Re: A suggestion for public lavatories

Yes, and I just read Miguel's suggestion that people use soap rather than bleach, as bleach irritates the lungs...so maybe a solution of dish soap in water would be better. I'll post Miguel Murillo's video, too. | ----------------Re: A suggestion for public lavatories

This is Miguel Murillo, Guero's son, showing us how to wash products we get at groceries. He explains why it's better to use more soap, and less cloro. The English subtitles are great. By the way, Miguel is the young man who put such a beautiful and professional display of his photos at Galeria 10 last year, during the first year of Art Crawl. https://www.facebook.com/539285991/posts/10158652604045992/ | ----------------
