On the lighter side we captives have the freedom not to shave! How long can you grow your leg hair ladies or beards (ladies or men)? | ----------------Re: Body Hair Challenge

That made me laugh here in quarantine land! On another note, my bra is officially retired for the duration. Some days I even get dressed! Stay well, and see you next season, all being well (as my grandmother used to say). | ----------------Re: Body Hair Challenge

It wouldn't be fair for me to take up this challenge because I now have only two or three pale blond leg hairs a month, which are easier to pluck than to shave. However, my senior year in high school, a classmate bet me that she could go longer than I could without shaving her legs. The Friday before our senior prom, I finally gave in, shaved my legs and paid the bet. Then she said, "Ha ha! I never have to shave my legs again because I'm going to be a nun!" I only forgave this ruse many years later, when she went on to found and become the director of the Urban Community School in Cleveland, an inner city school for underprivileged children with a 100 percent graduation rate. (I have no idea why I felt compelled to tell this story.) | ----------------
