Maeko (husband of Mari Cruz, the juice lady. Scuby or Escuby They are both people who will cut fresh coconuts and deliver them. But neither of the numbers I have are working right now. Does anyone have them, or know of someone else? | ----------------Re: Phone numbers for Maeko and Scuby

Try Flaca. Her husband deals with coconuts. Don't have a number. | ----------------Re: Phone numbers for Maeko and Scuby

When he comes to my house I’ll tell him you are looking for him, if you’d like. | ----------------Re: Phone numbers for Maeko and Scuby

Thanks, Dave and Jean, I don't need any cocos myself right now, but told Mary Jo I would post this, so she can start getting delivery. Now we know of 3 people who will cut cocos, and I'm sure they would arrange delivery. We just need their phone numbers posted. With the measures in place now, lots of people will appreciate the business, and we can tip them generously. So Jean, when Maeko comes by, can you just ask him for his cell #, and post it? Thanks so much. Why cocos? I want to keep up my resistance. Coconut water is very nutritious, especially if you drink the water right after you open it. I get my helper to shave the hard outside of the nut down, with his machete, so it's close to where I can open it myself, but still stays sealed till I'm ready for it. Most Mexicans seem to learn that skill from early on! Then when I want to drink one, I can use my drill, with a long bit, and drill a hole into the softer inner lining, hold it over a glass, drain it and drink. | ----------------
