We got groceries. The shelves were all well stocked. No run on anything except kidney beans but there was a sale on them! After that, we have stayed home, as instructed by our provincial health officials. All our events have been cancelled but they were before we left La Manz. (We left on Thursday, home by Friday.)
Things are progressing quickly. Our health officials have their shit together and so have both the federal and provincial governments so we have co-ordinated messaging, imo. It's clear how to manage this so far.
There's talk of bringing people home from away, and talk of limiting airports that are open. This is the government talking to media. Canadian citizens have been told not to travel, and not to travel on cruise ships. The Prime Minister's wife has the virus. Prime Minister Trudeau is working from home, but is still very much working.
I avoid any news I wouldn't trust, and I don't dwell on the news. I'm informed but not watching the news 24/7 either.
We're planning our two weeks quarantine. There's plenty to do without leaving the house. Grocery stores deliver. So do friends. So does Amazon.
Sending love and health to all. Don't panic, wash your hands a lot, and do what your brain tells you.
