Can you see the social privilege in that? You have the money and the
time and space to take those actions. What about the people who are living
hand to mouth? If they take a day off work they are in immediate financial
difficulties. As was mentioned on the town meeting today "I may die of the
corona virus, but I'm not going to starve to death." Do you see the reality,
the struggle, the desperation behind those words? We can't just tell others
to conform to our expectations we have to take responsibility for ourselves.
If you are really that afraid of the virus then do as Vicky is doing .
