The State paid 70% and La Huerta 30% of the 4 million pesos that brought the pumping station up to snuff. But what La Huerta President, Ray, said that we will no longer have problems with our town drains polluting our streets with unsightly and unhealthy 'black waters'. I hope this is true. What a relief not to have that sight and smell bugging us, not to mention, the danger of infections. But again, I'm not holding my breath, especially without a knee on my neck.
Thank you to Mary Jo and community for lobbying and thank you Governor Alfaro and La Huerta President, Ray, for responding. Si Se Puede! Cruz
PS: I guess because of Covid-19 we didn't get the inauguration presentation and party, darn.
