Re: Our Time Has Come
I ‘hear’ both Brandyn and Tanny, and have a few of my own words to say. Many of us who may choose to return have homes in La Manz. It would be pretty hard not to want to check on them as we have invested both in them and the community over many years. Unless there is a total shut down, pandemic still raging, borders still closed, no flights available, it would be almost irresponsible not want to check on them, and our Mexican friends and families. That being said, it’s still a while before any of us probably need to worry about whether we can/ are going to go. It’s a very personal decision that we all will have to make as Tanny says, so let’s not get all worked up about it yet. If one is just a vacationer looking for a hot spot to vacation in for the winter, then perhaps they should consider not going this winter. I personally pay those locals/ friends who work for me all year round and wouldn’t be surprised to find that many homeowners do. Still, however we look at it, it will be a tough winter for the town, just like it is now with hardly anyone there. Such is life everywhere in the world at the moment, and sending money if needed is not a bad idea, just think we should give it a bit of time to see what’s what and if the pandemic does in fact have devastating second wave. My dos centavos.
