A quick clarification from my Editor Self: All women named Martha spell it the same, but the letter H is silent in Spanish. Hence the pronunciation "Marta." (I'm editing the memoir of a Cuban-American woman who finally got sick of spelling her name without the H to appease her English-speaking friends; now she constantly corrects their pronunciation.) As someone whose brain often merges several different posts into one, and replies accordingly, I agree that we should all cut each other some slack. It's a time of relentless uncertainty, and it's HOT.
