A couple of notes -
The article only has 3 links to sources (one on Ebola) which
is light but understandable for the kind of article it is.
But one stat "During the peak of the pandemic in New York City,
less than 25 percent of coronavirus patients died in hospitals,
studies have estimated." really needs a link to the source.
That is a big understatement from memory, a cherry picked statistic,
best case scenario to the extreme. I may do some work on this and
see if I can back up my claim with a link.
The article also cherry picks giving some of the very worst
stats i.e. "While the statistic may be imprecise because of
limited testing," and "During a surge of cases in May, almost
half of all Covid-19 deaths in Mexico City hospitals
occurred within 12 hours of the patient’s being admitted,"
Overall, in general, the article makes Mexico look bad and the
US good by comparison. I wonder how many people in other countries
equate hospitals with dying of COVID? I would guess quite a few.
The article does have a comments section with the ability to
link to each comment. There are 3 sections
NY Times picks - (only two listed)
Reader Picks - sorted by up votes
All - not sure how they are sorted
Here is an example, I am using it to practice linking to
NY Times comments, a new world for me.

"Mexican deaths per million are 405 per million compared to 500
for the US and 686 for the UK. Your article paints a picture of
“hell on earth” which I am afraid indicates an anti-Mexico
bias I think is common.
