Yeah, it can be a horrible way to go... So much for, Oh well, just get the virus and get it over with, which was my first reaction. Not any more. | ------------Re: COVID-19 Is a Delirium Factory

They are moving away from ventilators now, but the part that got me was the hell they put those people through during their learning curve by withdrawing their support system of family. It is what Dr. Zach mentioned quite strongly in the interview I posted @ 1:12:40. Its like medicine back in the days of bloodletting, when they didn't know about germs. A 20% survival rate and half of those who do survive live a marginal life. Sounds brutal but IMO no ventilator would be better. | ------------Re: COVID-19 Is a Delirium Factory

Another option is to prepare ahead by buying a nebulizer to have in case. Some doctors think they work better than a ventilator, I hear. | ------------Re: COVID-19 Is a Delirium Factory

Death from suffocation can't be very pleasant either. I believe ventilators are used as a last resort when the choice is ventilate or immediate death. Not good choices glad I'm not a doctor. | ------------Re: COVID-19 Is a Delirium Factory

If Dr. Zack (different video) is even partially correct, that severe Covid-19 symptoms mimic those of cyanide poisoning, why shouldn't every hospital, as well as every Centro de Salud in Mexico, stock up on Cyanide Antidote Kits? Of course there are side effects, but the most common side effect of ventilators appears to be death. | ------------Re: COVID-19 Is a Delirium Factory

That is one of the questions I have as well but have yet to find any good information on. @39:25 - we need to treat this as a hypoxic injury similar to cyanide poisoning. We need to start to put in the pieces to change the shape of the hemoglobin......am I right, is that going to fix the problem? It may be more complicated than that..... (his clinics are not considered essential and are closed so he can't test his theory) Searching https://old.reddit.com/r/Coronavirus/ (Reddit has a poor search engine) using the query hypoxic got one result, an article from ABC on silent hypoxia which mirrored some of what DR. Zach talked about https://abcnews.go.com/Health/silent-hypoxics-docs-warn-coronavirus-link-mysterious-low/story?id=70366959 "but by then his oxygen levels had already dropped to a seriously dangerous 68%. In that case doctors were able to put the patient on a BIPAP machine, which provides a form of non-invasive ventilation, and his oxygen levels rose to the 90s. He later tested positive for the coronavirus." https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/321651 @ 1:08 Doctors are paralyzed by the fear of doing the wrong thing, for doing something outside of the current paradigm. the video

Several of my friends as well as myself will demand that no ventilators be used if we end up in the hospital. | ------------Re: COVID-19 Is a Delirium Factory
