Don't hold your breath! Our friend Cielo owner of China Girl Restaurant in Melaque cannot get beer for her customers and was told that the breweries were closed due to the pandemic. | ------------Re: Beer

I heard that the Mexican breweries are making beer for the US customers as AMLO and some state governors are trying to go “dry” (don’t come raining down on me for saying) and hopefully they will return to making beer for Mexico in June. Meanwhile, if you CAN find a case of bottled beer a friend got some recently for $500 pesos! | ------------No alcohol sales doesn't really work.

Hola, Jean. Then it's an interesting rinse and not a wipe? Just kidding. A smart move, Cruz | ------------Re: No alcohol sales doesn't really work.

Not that I’m outta butt wad, but if I were, there are soooo many things to use. I’d rather quench my thirst! | ------------Re: No alcohol sales doesn't really work.

I remember when we used cut up squares of the Mexican newspaper, El -----. Darn, I can't remember the name. My father cut the square with his pocket knife and hung them by a corner on a home made thick wire hook. The paper wasn't soft but it wasn't too bad on the bod. 20 years later we hispanics, the term at the time, were accused of being culturally deprived. Well not true because I know we had a Mexican newspaper in the house, lol. What do you remember using if anything? Cruz | ------------What have you used?

Camping in Arizona, my Father's birthplace well before it became a state, we used cactus. Pliers or sometimes just fingers pulled out the thorns, then it was smooth and pliable. My Dad was an old Arizona cowboy and knew about these things. As a doctor, I don't think he ever recommended it to his patients, just to his kids.

I remember hearing about Sears catalogs. Also heard from folks around, rocks, leaves, etc. And this info is from workers with no “royal flush” .. TP, is no big deal. .. Beer is, .... gotta hydrate. | ------------Re: No alcohol sales doesn't really work.

We used a catalog. Se would wrap out a page, would ruffle it up, crinkle it up until it was nice and soft and voila! | ------------Re: No alcohol sales doesn't really work.

Hola, Heidi. Are there any Sears catalogs now. Might be a new recycling move. Maybe some of us could get educated that way. Cruz | ------------oh you fat wolf

Mullein has nice soft large fuzzy leaves that actually kinda feel good. Here in Mexico, the plant is called Gordo Lobo, although here they primarily only harvest the flowers

Thank you Monty and Valerie for a possible alternative, mulleine leaves, if needed. I don't think I would ever try the desert material, like cactus. But if there is nothing else, lol, who knows? I heard of an instance where someone accidently used poison oak leaves while out in the woods and developed a very uncomfortable itch and situation. Ouch. The message is to be very choosy and careful, lol. Isn't it interesting how we deviate from the original topic of a thread, from beer to butt wipes in this case. Cruz PS: Just funnin and filling up time and space. Thank you, Daniel, for the opportunity. | ------------Re: oh you fat wolf

Thimbleberry leaves, natures toilet paper . Craft breweries in Oregon are dumping beer because they lack sales outlets, too bad they can't send some to Mexico. | ------------Re: oh you fat wolf

We have 5 "false" mullein (the common name) plants growing up here in our garden - similar, only even fuzzier leaves! And plenty of fresh water in the toilet bowl after flush for washing as billions do in Asia every day. | ------------Re: June 1st

So, if they have something fermented, great. But if not , it’s 30 -60 days fermentation. | ------------
