Valerie, I agree. There are still so many unknowns nobody really knows what to believe or do. | ------------Re: Without testing, reopening is "irresponsible"

I left Mexico to have my usual yearly physical and I was concerned about the care here,if I did get COVID. I am returning in about a month, but here is what I have experienced in both California and Arizona: Lack of testing, Testing results slow, inaccurate, hard to get and expensive, if you do not have a doctor to prescribe it or insurance. The poor are left to find their own way. People who think they are invincible and refuse to were masks and continue to gather in groups. Churches opening and people getting the virus as a result, then spreading it to family members. God will not save them and neither will our president and the majority of his administration who deny science and have no compassion for the poor and aging. This horrific! Everyday when it is necessary, I mask up and go out. Hand sanitizer and or washing with soap and water is a must before entering the home, car, and especially your face. All shopping carts are sanitized before you use them, if not, I do not use them. Upon return purchases are p!aced on the floor outside, sun seems to inhibit the virus. Hand sanitizer before they are brought in. I am afraid this is the world we live in until all Get immunity. My daughter is an RN in California doing triage for three different hospitals and is broken hearted everyday by what she sees. Please pay attention. Wear a mask to protect those you care about and everyone else. I know it is uncomfortable but the alternative is much worse.

Thank you, Wulze, for your description which probably reflects most of the US. It seems to paint a similar picture to our experience here in Mexico but for different reasons. And the poor and minorities bare the brunt in either case. I wonder how the prison populations in Mexico are doing, I haven't heard. The situation for the ones in the USA are catastrophic but at least they are publicized. And of course, the poor and minorities are more than represented there. A more beautiful world would not need prisons because caring, love, equality, connectedness and attention would greatly affect ones mental and physical health, not to mention employment, hope, happiness, contentment and services. I believe. All we need is to get through this one and not return to 'normal'. Let's look at 'normal', lol. Lots of work and change on ourselves. Keep doing what your doing, Wulze, and give your daughter a hug and thank you. Cruz | ------------Re: Without testing, reopening is "irresponsible"

Hola, Valerie. I definitely agree that testing is essential for control of the bug. However, I just want to point out that all the previous presidents and their administrations have been corrupt big time, leaving AMLO short on resources. The last administration under Pena closed 317 hospitals which are sorely needed now. When I came to La Manzanilla, nine years ago, the 'new' hospital construction in Cihuatlan had started, promising to be a show case of services for our area. My kids and I were elated. Within the year, building was abandoned until a few months ago. What happened for eight years?I bet corruption. The present operating hospital has two rooms and only four beds, I think. And as far as I'm concerned and what I have experienced, the service there has been great, albeit, no soap, tp, food or amenities. But the Cihuatlan Hospital is far from being able to care for any surge of patients whereas, the 'new' would have if it were finished. This is but a small example of what Mexico has experienced and what AMLO was left with.I do hope AMLO sees that testing is necessary and that testing that can happen happens. We are lucky that Jalisco's Governor, Alfaro, created PCR RADAR Jalisco so that testing is available but it is going slowly. So here we are without resources, is this irresponsible or negligent? It is easy for PRI and Pan to throw jabs when they aren't offering a solution. This is the 'normal' in Mexico even as AMLO sold the Presidential plane and simplified his living to meet this country's needs. Cruz | ------------Re: Without testing, reopening is "irresponsible"

TLDR - cover your own ass and second birth is beautiful (thanks Zach) I am seeing out of towners on the beach and in the restaurants and they are not wearing mask or social distancing. If you are concerned you should cover your own ass. Personally I have a couple pre existing conditions that say if I get the bug I am doomed. But over the years of the Gripa (flu) I have never done anything but wait it out (no meds) so that may be something I have going for me. I had a dream about a year ago, I was at a gathering (party) and wandered away. I came upon a river that was about 30 feet wide and flowing quickly. It went about 50 yards to my right and then made a sharp curve to the left behind some rocks so I couldn't tell where it went after that. I jumped in and went around the corner then around another corner that curved right, after a bit the river widened and flowed slower, I got out and was in a group of people. There was no judgement there and those words do not sufficiently describe the peace, love and total acceptance I found there, it was wonderful beyond words. After a while I found myself sitting in a chair, to my right sitting on the ground holding my hand was a woman about 60 years old, she looked at me and said "you have to go back". I complained that I didn't want to go back, she said I had to. Next thing is I woke up with tears in my eyes, sad that I had to leave such a beautiful place. Over the next few months I could not tell anyone about that dream without tearing up. I don't know why I had to come back but here I am and I no longer fear my second birth. By the way, have you noticed Venus is getting lower in the sky at every sunset? She is in retrograde.

thanks Daniel, wonderful vision... About testing, folks, there isnt going to be testing, enough to ensure safety... Even here in the good old usa, home of an infinity of products, and now a plethora of tests, which sometimes work... very few states have tested enough people to know what is going on..So, time to come up with a new strategy for this opening... a personal one, i think, take care of yourself the best way you know how | ------------
