It is closing in

La Huerta President, Ray, sadly announced yesterday that our County has two confirmed virus cases with three showing on the record. One case is located on the coast but the town was not identified. The Delegado says that the police have been instructed to cite persons not wearing masks on the street. The beach will continue to be open. Can someone please post what the situation on virus cases is in Cihuatlan. Thank you, | ------------Re: It is closing in

Last night I got a call from a Canadian who had spoken to a local and the local had said there was a case here in town and was afraid! I had not heard of that until I saw Cruz’ remark this morning but an unnamed town! So...there are a lot of vacationer faces out there today as I had to make multiple stops this morning...no masks at all..on the street or in the stores....just saying...be cautious! | ------------Re: It is closing in

Masks? Havent seen many of those in a while. Seems the attitude has been we are untouchable. Was feeling pretty good till out of towners showed up last weekend. And now a bus arrived today? How many more coming? I'm afraid our little piece of paradise wont understand until someone gets sick. Been praying that would not happen. Infections skyrocketing elsewhere. Please be safe. We are able to help anyone that needs it. | ------------Re: It is closing in

Shortly after reading this post, I went to the ATM at the delegacion/police station, where no one in the long line was wearing a mask...even though a police officer was hanging around, not citing anyone. Then I went to Farmacia Aceves, where Dra. Martha said it was NOT true that anyone in La Manz, much less on the coast, was one of the reported cases in La Huerta. Still...a tour bus! | ------------
