We are now Orange

Hola. Jalisco is now Orange on Mexico's range of activities map. We used to be red and supposedly very restricted. Here is our range: -Tianguis and Market places, open -Hotel and restaurants at 30 and 40 percent capacity respectively -Commercial centers and department stores at 30% capacity. (Surprisingly Colima was not given an orange light, so Manzanillo should be acting red?; and probably hasn't been.) -Churches at 50% capacity (here, masses have been held nightly on the qt at 8:00 pm with very low attendance. -Public places open with reduced numbers. -Non-essential businesses with 30% of personnel. Nothing was mentioned about tour buses and travel between states and so here we are, the numbers climbing in our state, little being followed and turistas on the loose . Cruz PS: Yes, the economy needs attention so vulnerable people take care and practice precaution. A balance needs to achieved for National economic health to proceed and repair. No hay mas. | ------------Re: We are now Orange

One map says red, the other orange...some are open others are closed...and so it goes....some say cases here, some say cases there...and so it goes..one thing for sure...the amount of disinformation by many is causing much head scratching under my mask! And so it goes! | ------------Re: We are now Orange

A few days ago, I read the results of a Chinese study, which showed that only one of more than 7,000 Covid-19 cases was transmitted outdoors. (Sorry, no link and no proof, but it makes sense to me.) Since I pretty much live outside--work on my porch, live in a house without windows, go to the pool and the beach with the same people--I'm beginning to think that my lifestyle choices do have some extra benefits. Shopping for essentials seems to be the only "risky" behavior, in which case I wear a mask, and hand gel is never far out of reach. This is why the changes in map colors don't really affect my sense of safety. | ------------
