Thanks for sharing this news, Carol, which makes me really sad. When I first moved to San Miguel in 2002, I rented the La Manz house that later became Judy's every January; she allowed me to stay on at the same rate until she moved there herself, so I met her via email long before I met her in person. (I was upstairs when the January, 2004 earthquake hit, which is why I know the difference between the aftermath of hurricanes and earthquakes.) We later became friends, both here and in Ajijic, where I often house sit in the summer. My sincere condolences to her son and any friends who read the Message Board. | ------------Re: RIP Judy Roloff

Judy was a special person who lived life to the fullest. Lots of laughs and deep conversations! I recall a photo taken of her on a water skier's shoulders in Acapulco when she was 18. I loved hearing of her life's adventures. Viva Judy! | ------------Re: RIP Judy Roloff
