Storm photos of the beach

Walked out to the end of the passage way next to my office and took a few photos, the third one is the back of my office. Its a mess and its going to take a group effort to clean up along with all the mud on the street.

Daniel, that was a small storm carrying a very large punch. They just cleaned the beach and the streets. Sad! There were a few slideS that I know of, Jane and Barbra rotate houses had a slide from 2/3 of the way to the top of the mountain behind them. You can see the water pipe exposed going to the house at the top. calls Cedros had a boulder and dirt slide above my home and below Arm and it's. The beach looks horrible and the wave that went through your office must have been pretty unsettling. The season is just beginning, stay safe. | ------------Re: Storm photos of the beach

I believe none because you have walls all around.. Jane and Barbarity have lower walls in the back where it slipped. I will check tomorrow with Jane and see if you are impacted. Here is my email address wooleydaw@hotmail.com. if you will send me a note I will look for it and respond with your info. Hope all is well with you. | ------------Re: Storm photos of the beach

Unbelievable and so sad. I am curious...how many inches total did this tropical storm bring to La Manzanilla? | ------------Re: Storm photos of the beach

Dean said that 21" of rain fell in just that one day. It's wonderful to see how many people are helping with the cleanup. The heavy machinery really helps with scraping all the mud from top of the paved streets. Mateo says the cabins all are safe (at the Crocodile Bar), and the Cafe du Calcetín will be up and running soon. You just have to use the beach access to get there, as the bridge is out. Generally, most people I talk to are upbeat and positive. The air feels a little cooler than before the rain, so it's easier to get work done. Just another day in paradise! | ------------
