I just took a trip up to see the goats and was quite surprised
at the changes from yesterday when I went up around 3 pm.
Yesterday the upper paved part of Concha Molida was passable and
there was a tractor moving some off the upper part. Today quite
different, more rocks but passable in a 4wd. Still a big change
from before they paved the road when it was a gully.
In front of Cruz's its pretty deep in rocks and mud, there is a
tractor there now making it passable. There are people helping.
Yesterday I made it up to the goats pretty easy, today I barely
make it, lots of slides and dirt has moved since then. I can't
really understand it as most of the rain happened before I went
yesterday, only 7 inches has fallen since then (as if 7 inches is
not a lot of rain). That is what happens when things get saturated,
imagine if we were getting another 10 inches or so today, OMG!
Count our blessings!
