It's wonderful to see how many people are helping with the cleanup. The heavy machinery really helps with scraping all the mud from top of the paved streets.
Mateo says the cabins all are safe (at the Crocodile Bar), and the Cafe du Calcetín will be up and running soon. You just have to use the beach access to get there, as the bridge is out.
Generally, most people I talk to are upbeat and positive.
The air feels a little cooler than before the rain, so it's easier to get work done. Just another day in paradise!
