Most not.
"If we did get sick while we are there, is there treatment available? Would we be stressing the health system?"
..." If we were to become seriously ill, would we be able to fly home?"
I hope someone answers these questions with VAILD (not hearsay) info.
"There were lineups last year for some of our favourite restaurants,
how will they handle the high season?"
I spoke to two of the rentalers and reservations are currently 60 to 70%
below what they were last year. Lines at restaurants is not currently
an issue.
"Here in Canada, our chief health officer Bonnie Henry says that
one thing we can do to slow the spread of Covid is to stay at home
and avoid all but essential travel."
Hard to argue with that logic ... IMO she is right.
"Please convince me that we should look for a flight."
COVID is a mind #### along with most other topics (take your pick)
Best description I have heard of the situation is this quote
"Nothing was, or is, wholly clear. And we faced the conundrum for
reporters everywhere: this insidious virus is everything and
nothing at the same time......
That means that every report, every word begins to feel either
an exaggeration, or an underestimation".
