As many of you probably expected there will not be a Cisco’s Amigos Spay and Neuter Clinic this coming January. Rusty and I will be staying in California during this Covid -19 situation. He is at very high risk for any type of lung problem and the hospital situation in Mexico is just too scary. This is very sad for us . We love La Manzanilla. Our source of free medical supplies is also not happening since these supplies are needed all over the world for care of Covid-19 patients.
If you really want to help the spay and neuter situation Alianza is up and running 5 days a week. They are located in Salaiza on the main road going to all the shopping in Manzanillo. Their # is 314-106-2080. Perhaps people could get together with several animals that need to be sterilized and drive them over . Call for appointments. They charge very little for their services, between $20USD for a male cat to $30USD for a medium female dog.
We sincerely hope that by this time in 2021 all will be back to some kind of normal and we’ll have a clinic in January 2022.
I sincerely thank all of our volunteers, supporters, and friends and hope everyone gets through this healthy and happy.
Thanks for this very useful info, Julie. I've made a note of it. Here's hoping you and Rusty stay well (that all of us do) and that 2022 sees the resurrection of Cisco's Amigos.
