The governor is on the beach now, apparently giving away stuff to the people of La Manzanilla...we counted 27 motos and a brand new wheelchair, among boxes of other stuff. Anyone have more info?

I saw this getting set up? Does this have anything to do with the truckloads of building materials coming in from La Huerta for storm Hernán relief??
(so much for no motorcycles on the beach)

Noticed the social distance of the chairs.
This is a culture shift for me, I have seen it before but not on this scale.
I am sure there is some good chatter on the other communication platforms e.g. face book, whatsapp etc.
I wish two things. One that someone would start a Spanish version of the message board (the format is the king of communicating) and Two that we had people who are learning Spanish or making a minimal wage to translate between the two languages (how ever that would occur).
There is no reason in this tech age for all of us not to be communicating more than we are now.
