I'm imagining what it will be like upon landing. You are no longer free but are given a test, herded onto a bus and taken to a hotel that is not of your choosing and placed under guard?
Umphh, I wouldn't put myself in those conditions, too much of a chance of my authority issues kicking in, my rebelling and ending up in jail, I would just stay here until it those regulations changed.
That is if they are ever implemented, there are a lot of preparations needed to implement a program like that, Here are a few things fro a reddit poster.
Which hotels are part of this?
Are they aware that they've been selected to be a part of this program?
Who is going to staff the hotels?
What training do the hotel staff have to handle quarantine?
What translation services are available for travelers that do not speak English or French?
What is the plan for people who arrive without the money to pay?
Is payment expected at the beginning of quarantine, or the end?
How will payment be handled for people arriving with only foreign currency or no ability to pay with debit/credit card?
What procedures are in place if someone arrives and COVID is detected on arrival?
Where will COVID positive individuals be kept? And should their condition worsen?

This is going to be a big time B movie, not what's needed about now when the gov is already having trouble getting people to cooperate voluntarily.
I read that they did something similar in Australia but I can't find the link at the moment.
