So, today I put a bunch of Tequila into the coffee maker to heat it up just like a cup of coffee, worked pretty good.
I put the shot glasses on a hot plate to warm them up and that wasn't as successful. The first I put on bottom first, it broke. The second I laid on its side and that one cracked but didn't break.
I used an old toilet paper roll as an insulator and ended up with what I wanted, hot Tequila on a cold night.
One of the co conspirators in this hot Tequila endeavor used a different method. They put a pot of water on the stove and put the bottle of Tequila in the water until the water boiled. They then heated up their Thermos using the same method and ended up with a heart warming experience even though they did not heat up the glasses.
All in all its ok, I think it would just take some getting used to the taste change, but the warming part of it was very welcome in these blizzard conditions we continue to suffer through.
I have done some research into Hot Tequila using the search term - hot tequila - and - heat up the tequila - (links below) I haven't found anything about heating up Tequila just a bunch of links leading to sissy stuff where they mix the Tequila with other ingredients, the heathens.
