Hurricanes spin counter clockwise, which means that the storm surge comes from the back end of the storm.
Watch the Wave height indicator (which is over La Manzanilla) as it progresses hitting a peak of 4.6 meters Sunday around 2 pm as the back end of the storm passes us.
Then I did the same for wind and as you can see the wind never gets above 26 mph, the storm just misses us.
So it looks like we jumped the shark once again. Mind you that this is based on the current prediction and that things may change, especially when it comes to rain, that is harder to predict as the bands may or may not come over us.
As of this moment, no wind, no rain pretty much a regular evening in La Manzanilla.
