Thanks, Duckie! You look after us so well, from afar. | -----------------------Re: Rolling Power Blackouts Tonight (Feb 16)

Thanks for the heads up Duckie, I owe you one. Both batteries out of the car...check sitting next to the Inverter ready for the black out...check I am pretty sure I am ready. Many years ago there was a black out in La Manzanilla, I packed up my tower computer, monitor, mouse and keyboard and went to Melaque and rented a hotel for the night. That was one of the four nights I have spent out of La Manzanilla in the past 20 years. The other three, one was a party in Yalapa (remember the one J?) one in Guadalajara to buy a car and the other in Guadalajara to get my Mexican passport renewed. Sometimes I think about leaving but then think...what would I be looking for? The answer is always what I already have so I end up not going. Thanks, Daniel, for the notice about unplugging our electronics ... but I'm wondering why you've taken the batteries out of your car ... not that I have one, (either car or battery) but my landlady does. | -----------------------Re: Rolling Power Blackouts Tonight (Feb 16)

Tge batteries power the inverter which you plug your stuff into. Looks like we didn't need it but it was good practice. | -----------------------
