Woman's Healing Care Group

My name is Amanda! I have been traveling to this town for almost 15 years with my family and it's a home away from home for us. My family is well known in this town as well. We hold church gatherings in the winter at our home. The reason for this post is because I feel as though I am being called to open a Woman's Healing Care Group. The world together is suffering immensely but even deeper than that, there is a lot pain and suffering that we woman face as we try so hard to be strong and keep going or to provide for our loved ones regardless of how we are treated and talked to. This is a place for all woman to come and to be together, there is NO judgement, it is an outlet to heal, and to talk about whatever is holding us back from being free in current situations and to find peace in knowing you aren't alone, and that you're severely loved by the One who made you, God. We need to stick together and help those who are suffering so they have hope in knowing theres a more meaningful life out there, maybe this is for you, or if you know anyone that could use support please bring her. This is a safe place for you. There is no men allowed. I will have a translator to help with Spanish/English and if theres a request for child care, we can talk about it. All is welcome, I do have to say if you're not feeling well and have symptoms of COVID-19 please rest and get better, I will see you next time! I would love some feedback on this message board as well, if theres any ladies that would like to discuss how we help the woman in our little town! Thursday, April 1st @ 5pm - White House on the beach beside COCO's Bar. You can contact me on my WhatsApp, 365-777-1110 (its a Canadian number, you may need to add the area code) Thank you so much, Amanda

You are very kind to offer this opportunity. However, you should probably know that a women's support group--comprised primarily of full-time female residents who live alone--formed in response to Covid-19 a year ago. We now support and care for each other under other circumstances, as well. If you don't attract as many women as you expect, this might be one of the reasons. | -----------------------Re: Woman's Healing Care Group

Thank you for your response. This is good to know. I had asked around and apparently no one knew of any support groups. Who is running this program? Thank you | -----------------------Re: Woman's Healing Care Group

No one is responsible for running the "program," which was a natural progression of close friends who became more structured in the face of Covid-19. Put another way, we were already in the same "bubble." | -----------------------Re: Woman's Healing Care Group

Good morning!! It’s a new beautiful day. God is good always. Update: thank you to the multiple woman who are supporting the start of this group. It’s been joyful to hear that this may be just what this town needs! We are calling it “The Grace Place.” I have decided to push the start date as Holy Week is approaching and many will be busy attending church or the festival. I will keep you updated. If anyone thinks Saturday is a better option or Sunday, your feedback is much appreciated. Have an amazing Easter & remember Jesus died so that we may live forever, and His grace covers all sin past, present, and future! Take care! xx Amanda | -----------------------
