Equinox Festival on the beach

Last night’s festival opening was lovely. The candlelight art on the beach was magical, and Bindu played a laid-back set of mellow sax with his very creative pianist. Never seen such big rain sticks, but they added to the dreamy ambiance. Here's a 360° video:

A beautiful, magical vibe - enraptured by this event just through your video and photos. | -----------------------Re: Equinox Festival on the beach

Sure looks different than the rest of the world. We're still (Calgary) masking and social distancing. And last week all the complaints about the goings on at Boca. Different music for different folks I guess.

The rave festival in Bocas attracted hundreds of people from all over Mexico as well as Europeans who don’t need any COVID test to enter the country. There were less than a hundred people at the Burning Wood fiesta and those who attended were mainly people who have been here for months. So a slightly different scenario! | -----------------------Re: Equinox Festival on the beach

"those who attended were mainly people who have been here for months." those ravers were all over La Manzanilla exposing everyone here. How many attendees were over 60? The only thing Burning wood had going for it was air movement (which is significant). Conformation bias its real and nothing to be ashamed of, we all do it.

Yes, things are different here. I think we all felt safe because we were outdoors at the beach, and there wasn't a huge crowd, either. | -----------------------Re: Equinox Festival on the beach

Not complaining, great to see these things going on else where. But don't kid yourself, it looks like standing room only. | -----------------------Re: Equinox Festival on the beach

It is strange the difference here. Meanwhile in Canada, things are not looking so good. Yesterday BC had the most new cases since January, with variants increasing too. Last night on the news: One wonders if they test for variants here in Mexico... | -----------------------Re: Equinox Festival on the beach

One wonders if the test here at all (other than the one time in Melaque). The comparison between here and there is dubious. | -----------------------Re: Equinox Festival on the beach

In the next week or so we'll see if we have a mini spreader event result. | -----------------------
