Hi Lulu, and everyone else, we're back, got to Lasqueti yesterday, filled out our first daily report to big brother this morning, just a reassure that we have no sickly symptoms. The return was not too bad, and much cheaper than the mandatory hotel scene flying in required. If you can set up an appt. in Vermont before you get there it would save time, it took lots of online frustration to register for an account to get an appointment, the rest was easy after all that! If you fill out your arriveCan form on your phone it's easy to get through the border, your plan is approved so you just listen to a long speech the guy reads from a form on his wall. We had a hell of a time trying to register for a Switchhealth account to get our next PCR test on the Can side of the border, trying to replicate your new complex 8 figure password in the bright sun on a hard to see ipad was the hangup. That said the easiest, cheapest and best PCR test was ar the GSQ hospital in PV, 3 blocks from our digs at the AZteca in old town, registered for appointment with 1 quick call, no fuss. Hope people find this helpful. M+Darzo

Thank you for your responds. I need to get a PCR test once in the USA on top of the one I will get to be able to fly ( the other one, cheaper)That is my understanding. I saw that across the street of Burlington’s airport, they’re having PCR test for 175$ us. That one should allow me entrance to Canada. Any other hints. Thank you so much dear community | -----------------------Re: Canadian entering USA

That's right Lulu, 500 pesos for the test in PV, 4 hr for the email report for the airport, you have to fill out a new form before entering the security scene at the airport. It was a mystery to me and many more, wanting you to scan a qcode with yr phone??? But they have a crew of friendly young people to help the cyber challenged, he did it all on my phone with fast flying thumbs in about 1 minute. The test in the tent in the Bellingham airport parking lot requires setting up an account with an American provider, I failed twice online, the nurse at the twst station told me the Whatcom County Health phoneline volunteers could do it for me over the phone and that's what happened.8 hrs til we got the email, then could fill out the arriveCan border form. That test cost $100US, $130 something Can., but it's way cheaper and more sensible than the 3 day hotel rip off. Direct flight much easier than all the connections thru the US airports tho | -----------------------Re: Canadian entering USA

I do not know why the U.S. and the Canadian Government are just ignoring how people are getting around their policies to protect both countries. I think because it is making money for businesses in the U.S. no one is complaining. Everyone knew after last year that restrictions could happen again if you traveled outside your country. | -----------------------
