Gracias, David. Guadalajara says, "Avoid an uptick of contagions-keep wearing that mask". I say, "we are not out of the woods yet". Cruz | -----------------------Re: The latest

And it has been almost 3 weeks since the hordes from the cities flooded the beach in La Manzanilla- and we still haven’t heard of a Covid outbreak here. Correct me if I’m wrong. | -----------------------Re: The latest

How would we know there is a COVID outbreak? They don't do any testing to speak of and if someone has symptoms its either not COVID or kept quiet. Last time I remember is being mentioned was a post by Stephanie several months ago. https://members5.boardhost.com/lamanzanilla/msg/1611670815.html Even when there was testing in Melaque it was difficult to get reliable info i.e. they didn't have a webpage with the results, as far as I know. Not to mention how many may be asymptomatic. Not that I have ever relied on testing stats anyway. The antigen test is only accurate within a 30 hour (or so) time period and the PCR is also hit and miss. Only stats I pay attention to are hospitalizations and excess deaths. | -----------------------
