Luthier?

Luthier is not a book in the Bible. I need a luthier to do a fairly simple mod on an ELECTRIC guitar. Not some guy with a 28 oz. Vaughn and a big chisel. Got any ideas? | -----------------------Re: Luthier?

You don’t need a luthier Monte...you need a dictionary | -----------------------Re: Luthier?

Hey, I spelled electric right! And some of my best friends are luthiers. Education is important, but playing guitar is importanter. | -----------------------Re: Luthier?

Just to be clear ...a luthier is a person who makes stringed instruments. I know one who makes guitars. Look it up if you have a dictionary. | -----------------------Re: Luthier?

Gee Becci, thanks for that little bit of wisdom, that is why in my original post I wrote,"I need a luthier to do a fairly simple mod on an ELECTRIC guitar". Where would I be if you did not ride herd on me? | -----------------------Re: Luthier?

‘Just to be clear’ Becci, did you lose your sense of humour somewhere between Luthier and Farrier? Your ‘ delivery’ often comes across quite harshly, just sayin. | -----------------------Re: Luthier?

Sorry it’s just that my luthier friend would be offendered if asked to work on an electric guitar. | -----------------------Re: Luthier?

A luthier is an artisan who makes or repairs stringed instruments such as cellos, violins, guitars, mandolins, dulcimers and banjos. The word luthier comes from the French word luth, which means lute, and the art of making and repairing instruments is a centuries-old tradition. | -----------------------Re: Luthier?

Janice made a posting about BRIDGE. Perhaps that would be a more appropriate place for me to post looking for a guy that works on stringed instruments (luthier), to replace the BRIDGE on my guitar. | -----------------------
