Personally, I find this outcome quite peculiar. For years I guessed June 13 at 7 a.m. until I realized that I was competing with Cruzie, who always chose the same day at a different time, so I changed my guess to another day and Voila! she wins. Felicidades, Cruz! | -----------------------Re: Guess the rain winner

Just so you don't feel too bad Lynne you know you still would not have won? Because Cruz's time was still closer to the one inch time. | -----------------------Re: Guess the rain winner

Thanks for easing my pain, James. :-) Actually, no one in town deserves to win more than Cruz. | -----------------------Re: Guess the rain winner

Hola, hola. So fun to be a winner, at whatever. This was fun because, before calculating my entry, I asked a local when he thought the raining, la lluvia, would begin. We sat at the Jardin's edge contemplating the clouds and air which already felt that rain was close. This was sometime in early May. Oh yes, he said. It certainly feels like rain will be early this year. I combined what he said with last year's early rain month and my favorite number, 13. Luckily, because I usually enter June 24th, the rain saint's birthday, dia de San Juan that has left me high and dry. I'll be by, Daniel, once I return to LM. Gracias for this yearly tradition drawing attention to such an important event and water for our daily needs. Cruz
